A Dhaka court has ordered the seizure of 362.43 acres of land, seven apartments, and several houses belonging to former Jashore-3 MP and Jemcon Group owner Kazi Nabil Ahmed, his family members, and affiliated entities.
Additionally, the court has ordered the freezing of U.S.-based investments worth USD 6,139,031 (approximately BDT 745.2 million) linked to Kazi Anis Ahmed, a member of the same family.
The order was issued on Thursday (April 24) by Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib following a petition by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
