A human chain was held in Jashore on Friday to commemorate the significance of the Islamic month of Muharram and the mourning associated with Ashura. The event aimed to raise public awareness about the historical and spiritual importance of this sacred time.
The program was organized by Ale Rasul Publications and took place in front of the Jashore Press Club. It was conducted by Shahbaz Ahmed, a representative of the organization.
Among the participants were Maulana Iqbal Hossain, Khatib of Danbir Haji Muhammad Mohsin Imambargah, and Maulana Kamaruzzaman Abir, the presiding imam, along with others who expressed deep reverence for the sacrifices made during Muharram, particularly on the day of Ashura.
